  • Account Information: If you use Pro features, we may collect your email address linked to your Google Account for subscription verification.
  • Google User Data: When you use the "Export to Drive" or "Export to Sheets" features, we access your Google Drive/Sheets via OAuth to create and save your financial reports.
3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

  • App Functionality: To calculate your financial health, track debts, and provide spending insights.
  • Cloud Integration: To facilitate the export of your financial records to your personal Google Drive or Google Sheets at your request.
  • Pro Features: To manage and verify your premium subscription status.
4. Google API Disclosure

FinTrax's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We only access the specific files or folders necessary to perform the export function initiated by you.

5. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: By default, your financial data is stored locally on your device. Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or mobile storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal financial data to third parties. We only share data with third-party services (like Google Cloud) to the extent necessary to provide the app’s features (e.g., saving a spreadsheet to your account).

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data. Deletion: You can delete your data within the app settings at any time. Account Closure: If you wish to revoke Google API access, you can do so via your Google Account Security settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

FinTrax does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
