Terms of Service for FinTrax

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the FinTrax mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FinTrax provides a platform for users to manually track budgets, expenditures, income, and debt. Selected "Pro" features allow for advanced tracking and integration with Google Cloud Services, such as exporting data to Google Drive and Google Sheets.
3. No Financial Advice
FinTrax is a tool for informational and organizational purposes only. We are not financial advisors, accountants, or tax professionals. The App does not provide professional financial advice, and any insights or summaries provided should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions. You are responsible for your own financial choices and the accuracy of the data you input.
4. User Accounts and Pro Features
Pro Subscriptions: Access to certain features requires a paid subscription via the Google Play Store. All billing and cancellations are handled through your Google Play account. Accuracy: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Third-Party Services (Google Integration)
The App offers integration with Google Drive and Google Sheets via Google APIs. Consent: By using these features, you authorize FinTrax to interact with your Google account to perform requested actions. Third-Party Terms: Your use of Google services is also governed by Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. FinTrax is not responsible for platform availability issues.
6. User-Generated Content and Data Ownership
Ownership: You retain full ownership of the financial data you input. Local Storage: Data is stored locally. You are responsible for backing up data using export tools. FinTrax is not liable for data loss due to device failure or lack of backups.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the App for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or hack the App.
- Use the App to store or transmit any malicious code or viruses.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE BUG-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ALWAYS ACCURATE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINTRAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
